My name is James Crockett. I am a board member and advisor for PM Training Services Corp. Our team works tirelessly to reduce barriers to rewarding careers through access to quality program and project related educational services that positively impact our communities.
My family and I served in the U.S. military for 31 years. Continuing our legacy of dedication to service, I accepted a position on the Board of Directors for Mary’s Shelter, a pro-life women and children’s shelter that advocates for and supports pregnant women who want to have their baby under sometimes very difficult personal circumstances by providing a home, supporting medical care, helping with job placement, and other critical services to help these families not just survive, but thrive.
Over the past 35 years I have served in many military and private sector leadership positions in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and human resources management.
I received my Master of Science, Management Information Systems from the University of Mary Washington in 2009. My certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute, Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)® from ISC2, and Security+, Certified Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA+), and Certified Security Analytics Professional (CSAP) from CompTIA.
I look forward to continuing our work in communities to reduce barriers to rewarding careers.
